We’re Allan Lipp and Mhairi Ross, also known as Stormy and Steth – join us on an extraordinary journey as we embark on a world-record attempt to circumnavigate Great Britain by rowing boat!

The Long Row Home is about pushing boundaries, testing limits, and raising funds for two incredible charities: the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) and SCAA (Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance).

Departing from Wick, in the far North of Scotland in Summer 2024, our journey spans approximately 2000 nautical miles of coastline and we estimate it will take around 60 days to complete.

Our vessel, Boudicea, a seven-metre-long carbon-fibre boat, will be our home as we navigate the open seas. Completely unassisted, we will rely on meticulously planned supplies and a desalinator unit to sustain us throughout our journey.
